I was curious if anyone has attempted to engrave on pewter or if it is possible.
you should be able to mark pewter using Cermark or some alternative, although I believe it takes much more power/way slower passes than using cermark on steel. I don’t think any 40w Co2 laser can cut or engrave into pewter. Laser-engraved pewter mugs and bowls that I have seen were done using a YAG or Fibre laser.
