Has anyone ever etched on Terra Cotta plates, if so what material did you list and what were your settings? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
I have not engraved on terra cotta, but I found this video from Trotec laser. As for settings, youare going to have to do some testing. You will select “Uncertified Material” and use the set focus rather than inputting a focus height.
