While awaiting with bated breath (well, maybe not quite as I’m sure I would pass out between now and March 
) I wanted to ask – will the Gloforge be able to etch materials such as labradorite or moonstone?

Here are some earlier threads that have chewed on the same question. The answer in them tends to be, “Depends on the stone, but it’s more likely to ruin it than not, especially the more delicate ones. Better off Forging a mask, then sandblasting or etching.”

Good question that has only been touched on a few times. So much depends on the chemical composition of the gemstones.
