I logged in to do some catching up today and am stunned to read this, and so sad. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Now I feel regret that there never was a Colorado user get-together (at least that I was involved with).

I am so very sorry for your loss!
Your father was one of the first people I interacted with regularly on these forums and he always and only had kind and encouraging words. He clearly enjoyed making things, figuring out how to make things and talking about making things, and brought a creative and intelligent intent to all his posts.
Thank you for letting us know and for giving us this chance to remember Dave and celebrate him.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear it. @PrintToLaser has been one of the most constant and positive members of this forum since the waiting-for-a-laser days. Though we never met, I counted him as a real friend. I’m sorry for you to lose him, and I’m sorry for our community. He added a lot to the world that he delighted in.
