Experimenting in Inkscape

While waiting for the :glowforge: I am experimenting with Inkscape and managed this


It has what could be a great gear maker but have not found how to control it yet

If someone has some better info I would love to learn

This tutorial was the only one I found that addressed the issue I was looking at. A weird way of working but that is how it was supposed to work I guess. The others have ways to bull through it but not have the gears work with each other. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTbYHmQkY9w

In further experimenting with Inkscape, I am finding an awful lot of tedious work cleaning these leaves up so that there would be a chance it would hold together long enough to glue to a background like a box top etc. I am thinking that someone might have created a toolbox for Inkscape users who planned to laser cut the results that would shortcut many tedious actions. Is anyone familiar with such a toolbox?

I was thinking as a coaster in Shale for someone that is such an extreme fundamentalist that they are studying to be an Ammonite.
