Fabric and wood

Hello everyone! I just got my glowforge and I am so excited to finally make the projects that have been swimming around in my head for so long. I really want to glue fabric onto wood and then cut shapes that I can use to make earrings with. What would be a safe glue to use and what kind of wood would be best suited for this project. I want it to be thin and light weight. I look forward to your answers. Thank you- Lisa

I know a lot of people have had good experience with just PVA glue. ModPodge is an example.

Thank you so much! I’ll give that a try.

I have this on the wall behind my unit. Life is too short to memorize everything.

the question is did you engrave that ? score it? make it LED backlit?

or just print it with a printer.

Printed then covered up with a saw blade and two coping saws on a nail.
Still easy to locate so it’s all good…

Chart is from a magazine years ago. Makerworld or something?
Sad that I do not remember.
