What do the officials think that you plucked a hawk while it was not paying attention? Silly law. I know it was written to protect the bird, but shed feathers should be allowed to be collected, no?

Were you able to replace the hawk feathers for the more domestic type?

We haven’t gone hunting yet. I did find a nice guinea feather on a shelf here in the house, so she’s got that, for now.
