For the first time I did the door open hack to personalize a hat for my 11 year old granddaughter. It turned out wonderful…(keep in mind there are safety issues with having the door open). She loves to read so I even engraved a saying by Louisa May Alcott on the leather around the hat. I’m happy with it! It has a rose and vine on the back…

@brian.skinnell, @rvogt will probably not discuss this openly as it goes against the forum rules any mods that circumvent the security features, but the search function is your friend and if you look for “interlock magnets” you will get the idea as this has been discussed before.

@brian.skinnell , do the search like @reynoso mentioned, also some info/pics on the internet. @reynoso, I left the door open and put the hat with most of it hanging out. Just enough in so I could get it on the brim. I used paper on top and scored her name to be sure of placement before I did the engrave.
