im making the national park file thats in the library but on the Alaska part the trees are set to score instead of cut and theyre grouped with the words that are suppossed to be scored but they cant be ungrouped. how or who can fix this?

There is a place to report any file issues to Glowforge. Click “report file” and submit to Glowforge.

In the meantime, I have a hack to let you finish this design.

First, print everything but Alaska.

Double click on the design to go into “edit in group” mode and drag Alaska away from the rest of the design. Discard the rest of the design.

Print Alaska with all the details set to score. Now, cut small bits of aluminum foil and cover the scored text with the foil. Use a little bit of painter’s tape to keep the foil in place, the laser can cut through the tape.

Change the score to cut, and run it again. It’ll cut out the trees now, and try to cut the labels as well, but the foil will keep those cuts from doing anything to the wood.
