After totally wrecking the first attempt I was able to get some deep engraves in what I thought was walnut but acted in a not walnut manner and think might be teak though there is not the gray that most teak hints at. I have some thin walnut that I purchased as walnut but the “teak” was from the grab bag; so I am not sure. Looking for opinions as if I should use the walnut or re-cut on real walnut and wait till I can get thin teak.
