After dropping my unprotected tablet one more time I made this…
I needed to experiment with a yellow dye for wood anyway and since it was for me the mistakes I made like getting it inside out are going to stay that way instead of making another.

I’ve been thinking of doing something similar for the tablet my Gkid uses. I think your cool rounded corners would work really well for this!

Actually there are two reasons for going the opposite direction in this case.
#1As it is plywood the rounded look would be striped and not so pretty.
#2 The Quoin look I like anyway but the bumpy texture helps keep it from sliding from where it is put.
