This is my first post on the Glowforge Community. I wanted to share my experience making an engraved puzzle because it was a little bit of a challenge for me so I assume others may be struggling with it as well. My first attempt failed miserably, I engraved my photo first and then decided to cut out the puzzle pieces. I didn’t think it would be an issue because I taped up the engraved image after it was done printing and before I started cutting but the tape came off mid print (and of course I couldn’t pause the GF and try to fix the tape mid print…) so my engraved image was ruined. I decided to experiment and do the opposite next. Cut the puzzle pieces first, take off protective tape and then engrave my image and it was a SUCCESS!
