Yours looks awesome! Great work. I’m glad my project helped you out.

Awesome work, she will give that bed to her daughter. I do have one quick question, you mention you cut the figures from baltic birch plywood. I would like to do similar animals for my grand daughter. Each time I try to cut off the shelf birch ply it burns badly. May I ask what settings you used? Thank, Mike

Those are two different materials. Baltic Birch is an all-birch plywood with a manufacturing standard defined.

Birch plywood is plywood with birch veneer faces. There is no standardization on what is between the faces. That means there are voids, glue pockets, odd glues, weird stuff like Bondo occasionally, etc.

Unless you’re buying Baltic Birch you’re not going to be able to get reliably consistent results. You can buy Baltic Birch from cabinetmaker suppliers, online sources, Amazon, Woodcraft stores and potentially other local wood suppliers.

3mm Baltic Birch is 3 plies of birch, 6mm is 5 plies of birch wood. The glues are consistent (interior grade) and the finish quality tends to be better too (there are restrictions on the number & size of knots and patches).
