Thanks for sharing the process behind the wall quote you made, which turned out looking absolutely perfect! I am not familiar with the term “control strips.” Is that term used in graphic design or sign making?

If you mean “command strips” thet’s a brand name for a removal wall hanging sticker: https://www.command.com/3M/en_US/command/products/ They’re designed so that if you pull up or down on them against the surface they’ll come off a painted wall without removing the paint (if you pull them straight out they’ll still take the paint/plaster with them)

Note you put the command strip on the wall and wait 24 hours. My tenant didn’t read the instructions. Nothing got wrecked, but she found her painting on the floor the next morning.
