Great work! Very funny!
Now to add some plastic fish to the ālakeā. . .
Not really the same, but in my early years of banking, we had a pneumatic tube that would send stuff back and forth from the remote teller station into the main building. One time, during a heavy rain, the tube flooded. My boss hooked up a small orange juice can with wire and was lowering and raising it back up out of the tube to try bailing the water out. One of us went over a few doors to a 5 and dime store and bought a couple of goldfish which we put into the tube when our boss wasnāt looking. You can imagine his surprise when they came up in his OJ can.
Thereās an alternate reality where the technology that really took off was not semiconductors, but pneumatic tubes. I want to live there.
Love this!! It needs a boat or some type of āSeaā monster.
Hopefully machine āpneumoniaā wouldnāt be prevalent!
ooh, hilarious. I think it needs a dock/pier!
Update on the waterfront: itās completely gone! Workers came and drained the swamp a few days ago, and today they filled it all in with dirt then seeded and covered with hay. They even took their hazard tape. Well, it was fun while it lasted, and neighbors are happy to have a mantle decoration for the fireplace.
That was fun while it lasted. Iām glad you got the chance to do that, have some good times, and that the neighbors have kept the small village in their house. Cool!
maybe some small boats to tie to a dock are next?
Iām so pleased that you did that, and that they laughed!
I love that they kept the village for their mantle! It will bring joy to them for a long time!
