Flashback on masked plywood

I do find that if something is opened a lot the living hinges sometimes fail. If it does (or beforehand) you can glue a piece of leather or fabric to the underside - and then even if the wood is broken it doesn’t look it and the hinges move just fine :slight_smile:

If you wanto get really tricksy you can replace the wood hinge with leather scored to look like a living hinge!

Not sometimes. Always.

This is why they are called living hinges. They will eventually die from cumulative material stress.
