Ah I like this.

I’m impressed at how you didn’t drip epoxy everywhere like I always seem to.

This wasn’t easy, but I found using syringes very helpful.

Very nice work! I’m guessing your workflow has changed since you threw caution to the wind and invested in a laser. :+1:

Me too! First laser art I saw was probably 30 years ago, and at the astonishment of the detail I had always fantasized about doing art with a laser.

What kind of things you been doing?

There is a spectrum, mostly centered around requests from my Daughter. From her wedding to commemorative gifts, I’ve had a lot of fun with my superpower. Closing in on 3 years with the glowforge, I have explored so many different materials, and am still enthralled with that treasure hunt.

It seems that when I put my creative self aside in order to adult and earn a living, 40 years of that seems to have numbed that creative spark to a degree. I was constantly in trouble in class for drawing. It’s still there, and man… do I thrill at the idea of having the laser with its accuracy at my disposal! Some of the best money I ever spent.

To answer your question, fulfilling a dream. :sunglasses:
