Having a little fun using epoxy resin and pigments.
Gorgeous work - what a great effect!
Ah I like this.
I’m impressed at how you didn’t drip epoxy everywhere like I always seem to.
This wasn’t easy, but I found using syringes very helpful.
Nicely done!
Wow, that is beautiful! Amazing stained glass look!
Oh that is so cool! Nice shading of the pieces and I love the way you domed everything.
Wow, looks like stained glass. Beautiful!!!
Very nice work! I’m guessing your workflow has changed since you threw caution to the wind and invested in a laser.
Yes, purchased a pro back in Feb. And I live this machine
Me too! First laser art I saw was probably 30 years ago, and at the astonishment of the detail I had always fantasized about doing art with a laser.
What kind of things you been doing?
There is a spectrum, mostly centered around requests from my Daughter. From her wedding to commemorative gifts, I’ve had a lot of fun with my superpower. Closing in on 3 years with the glowforge, I have explored so many different materials, and am still enthralled with that treasure hunt.
It seems that when I put my creative self aside in order to adult and earn a living, 40 years of that seems to have numbed that creative spark to a degree. I was constantly in trouble in class for drawing. It’s still there, and man… do I thrill at the idea of having the laser with its accuracy at my disposal! Some of the best money I ever spent.
To answer your question, fulfilling a dream.
So beautiful!
Have you been using Epoxy for awhile? Wondering what kind of epoxy and pigments you used?
Beautiful!
