Not my thing, though. I need time for my creativity to happen. Everything would be all wilted before I could get around to making it look like something.

Yes, that’s what I thought! This is totally my thing, not to say I would do and make it, but it’s incredibly enjoyable to see - thanks for sharing!
Reminds me of some indigenous African art, where they took pieces of butterfly wings handmade tropical birds and parrots from them.
