The gift shop across the street asked me to make wood flowers. I think I chose the wrong flower. These look like spoons.
I see ‘em!
I wonder if one could do a stippling or hatching/cross hatching effect for shading. Those should be simple enough (imprecise enough) that you could run at a lower LPI to speed things up, maybe.
I also thought about PG veneer in a complimentary wood. But, I have none in Hand right now.
I like them. They’ll hopefully look more like callas than spoons in a bouquet.
Ooooh! We’ve got a bunch growing wild in the swamp area behind the house. Nice job!
But they are really unique! Everybody has wooden daisies, yours are special.
I like them. Also, now you have me anticipating spring…it is my favorite!
Calla Lillies!
I really like them as Calla Spoons. Imagine the looks you would get if you had a jar of then and casually grabbed one to stir the soup!
My girlfriend had the same thought. I’d have to make them out of actual wood then. The plywood is kind of brittle in one axis.
You can find spoons and spatulas made of wood and bamboo of very similar if way less interesting design and was thinking even those could be re-cut to your design.
