Wow! That’s dedication to getting a project just right. Way more patience than I have
That’s a great detail to share, thanks! Do you have a recommendation for a good paper? All of the papers I’ve tried definitely have layers that can be easily pried apart with a razor blade, though none of my puzzles are old enough to see what happens “over time”. The paper I’m currently using is this cotton matte art paper.
Your event sounds really great. Wish I were close enough to attend.
By the way, I really like your puzzles, especially the creative piece shapes.
Aww thanks
Since I have never had good enough results with paper, I have either hand painted my puzzles, or lately, I’m exploring having an image UV print on gessoed plywood.
The best place to ask questions on puzzle making would be in some Facebook Groups:
Puzzle Parley: Puzzle Parley | Facebook
Puzzle Jam South: Puzzle Jam South Group | Facebook
Wooden Jigsaws Puzzle Club: Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles Club | Facebook
Envious! Looking forward to when UV printers are actually affordable.
