Based on your forum participation, your machine is 5 years old. The laser tube fades over time whether the machine is used or not. Brand new Glowforge Plus sell for 4500. Good luck.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. The age of the machine is a crucial factor. Is this the machine you started with?
