I just got the bill for replacing the pre filter and combined filter for the BOFA we have our Universal at work hooked up to.
$1565 (including shipping and tax).
so, just remember, it could be worse.
altho, to be fair, we also got nearly 350 hours of cutting out of that (mix of mostly acrylic, BB, and mattboard/paper). so maybe if you figure hourly cost…
I am guessing by the cost that it had 25lbs + of active carbon? The replacement set up for my Teka filter at home is about $500 but like most commercial it has several layers of filtering protection including active carbon.
Cost vs actual filtering I am good with paying $500 for replacements!
