No just an old hick with some Tennessee cedar sticks. Beer tap handles for a local tap room.

Western cedar is gorgeous stuff. We have a ton of it here, I need to work on learning how to cure it for craft use!

Most of the cedar I use is from tree work rubbish found on the roadside. Not much curing needed. I try to make sure it is less than 15% when checked with moisture meter. Cuts like pine or soft cherry. The key is not to set the power too high or it vaporizes the wood not leaving much contrast. Lower power leaves a nice dark burn but doesn’t penetrate very deep.
