There I found multiple designs of laser cut geared light switches. When a side lever was thrown it turned the light switch on or off.
The gearing was examples of linear movement in one direction rotated via the flat gears to active and transverse linear movement activating or deactivating the light switch. I should have took pictures.
Quick etsy search for geared light switch has simple to extravagantly complex, and even whimsical.
My favorite is not a laser one, but totally out of the box.
That store looks like an artistic consignment niche market that is doing well. Intriguing selection of goods.
Caution: Rabbit hole ahead…
I’m glad that everyone’s taste is unique and there’s room for so many different styles in the world.
Because this is about as far from my cup of tea as it gets. My ideal light switch doesn’t exist, but if it has to, it calls as little attention to itself as possible.
