Inkscape has a gear generator extension as well.

I did use a paid one, I used a couple open source ones but really like this paid one.
And this site to get an idea of what I wanted

That I actually knew and have been very impressed by what I’ve seen people on the forum do with it, but I have zero to less than that interest in Inkscape. Just personal preference.
I bought AD since it was only $40 at the time to play with. They’ve got a pretty cool beta going on for Affinity Publisher right now too. I’m always looking for something that resembles PageMaker from the old days. i don’t like MS Publisher and even though I use InDesign I don’t need all that power all the time.
