From posts over on BoardGameGeek it looks like the Epilog sold for $7000. Not sure of the condition of the machine but it was a 2008 model.

If the tube is fairly new (for an Epliog large bed laser), that is a steal. Normal pricing is in excess of $22,000 new.
I have a quote for one offered to me locally for several grand less with a 50w tube (just replaced) and from 2012. So I would say over paid

Yea those are crazy prices considering the cost new for lasers. Its only about ~$22k CAD without haggling for a brand new trotec speedy 100. And they are the more expensive brand of laser
Conducting research for a possible appearance?
