My daughter and her husband bought their first home in Germantown, Ohio this fall . It’s a quaint town, with a lot of historical homes, and community events. Wanted to engrave the map for them … here it is on a slate placemat.
Settings 30 Power / 905 Speed / 270 LPI, had pre-wiped the slate with Cutting Board Mineral Oil.
Wasn’t sure if the map would get whiter … or be obliterated if I did a second pass. Or if I should have done more LPI to begin with. They loved it though!
