This was my first attempt at using my glowforge on a sign for our house. I’m soo excited with how it turned out.
Cut the letters on 1/4 inch scrap pieces I had from another project, painted the board behind and made the frame. All made out of 1/4 inch wood so it is very light.
Up until now, I have been using my Glowforge to cut fabric for masks for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Excited to try another medium! Thinking etching / engraving may be next on the docket!
That is very festive! Well done.
You did a beautiful job on that! It’s a wonderful sign.
Your alignment is excellent. Care to talk about how you did it?
Very nicely done! Congratulations on escaping your “rut.”
Beautiful! Sure to bring some joy!
A beautiful and inspiring sign. Well done.
You made it look really good. that one of the songs I really like.
I used the file I had cut and printed it on paper. Then, I used a trick from art class and put pencil on the back of the sheets and traced the design. All that was left was to glue the wood letters. I know it’s a lot of work but I wanted to make sure I had the alignment down.
Very beautiful and very vintage looking!!
Love It! Great job! A sign is on my to-do list pretty soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
Out of likes … but love your sign. Nice font combination, and is so well done.
