GF Pro with XTool AP2 Filter - Pls Help!

XTool AP2 filter with Glowforge Pro

After years of venting my GF Pro out the window, I will now be in an office that requires an internal filter. I’ve never used an internal air filter before - here are my questions:

  1. The XTool AP2 looks like a great option - do I need accessories with it? (Stand w/ wheels, adapter, etc)

  2. Is the XTool Safety Pro AP2 the same as the XTool AP2? Is this the correct one to order?

  1. My office is in the 2nd floor (there’s an elevator). Will I need to make special arrangements with delivery, due to the weight of the filter?

TIA for any help you can give me! :folded_hands:

First question would be, as it’s the same price, and so are the replacement filters, why not go with the :glowforge: filter? Especially as you can often find them for sale cheap as people got them in the bundle and never used them

That being said, I think the SafetyPro just comes with the fancier filter to begin with (I could be wrong, but that’s all I saw). I note they don’t seem to sell the filters on Amazon, so if you go that way, make sure getting them shipped from Xtool or another distributer is possible/worthwhile.

I suggest you contact the manufacturer. I doubt many GF owners have these filters, as filters in-general are rare exceptions, not the rule. Plus, the community is nowhere near as active as it once was.

Hi @Angela333

Did you ever buy the AP2 and does it work? I have the same issue as you and I am thinking about getting an AP2 for my Glowforge pro.

Thank you!
