Ghost Haze on Camera Lens

Hi Community, just got my Glowforge and it is great. My grandson and I have already completed several projects.

But, there seem to be a ghost haze on the camera lens. Is this normal? I’ve tried the provided lens cleaner but it’s still there. doesn’t seem to affect the laser’s performance.

Any advise?

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

If you’re referring to the camera image looking a bit blurry/out of focus, yes - that’s normal. Do not attempt to focus the camera manually.

That’s awfully dim, Are the lights on the lid working?

After a while I get a smoky haze on the lens (and everything else). Probably not recommended but a quick gentle wipe with the Zeiss lens wipe gets it back to normal
