Try looking up videos that defocus the glowforge Len to get better engraving on glass and acrylic then after that just start making your own setting in between the settings that you learned from the videos. It does takes time creating your own settings and material depending on how big the engraving is the bigger the engraving go’s then I start to change the settings to work for the size i’m doing, I do the same for all materials I use. The bigger or smaller the engraving gets the setting will have to be changed just a little bit to work for the size of engraving your doing. And thats for all materials you use . And yes you can use the same setting if you want to, it still will work once you find the setting you like but your engraving will only be as good as that setting your using and it will never get better than that unless you create your own setting for the sizes and material your using.
