Glowforge and Polyester Sound Panels

I have 3/8" acoustic sound panels made from 100% polyester. Has anyone tried to use the Glowforge on this material?

You should not be hurting the Glowforge, but you might find it melts and flows back on you, and thus need many passes at lower power or higher speed.
