The laser on my Glowforge Basic no longer works. Everything else seems to work fine. I have done all the troubleshooting I care to do and just want it gone. Instead of contributing to e-waste, I wondered if anyone wants it. I’m not sure I want the responsibility of shipping it. I live in the Charleston, South Carolina area.
If nobody wants it, does anyone have experience with proper disposal of a Glowforge?

If you lived closer, I’d consider it just for extra parts that may go out on mine. Hoping someone close to your area takes it off your hands for you.

Where I live, there are a couple places that take any type of electronics, charge you a nominal fee, and dispose of them properly. One of them here is called Best Buy and is a huge electronics store. I don’t know if you have that or something similar where you live. I suggest you check around your area for something like that.

Check with your garbage collector. A lot of them actually recycle electronics. If that dodgy work look online.

I’m going to echo the - oh I wish I were closer! I’m adding South Carolina to your title so people who scan are more likely to see it.
