So a bit of liquid let the magic smoke out of that chip. You got a new black cable and a new magic chip? You replaced both and it is still not working?
I had to replace the black cable and found it exceptionally easy to damage while installing. It is also easy to not get a good seating in the places that clip in. I had two errors when I installed mine but fortunately, they were both mis-seated clips. I was quite astonished when it actually worked.

I cooked my white board due to misaligned black cable. Now the Leds do not work. Everything else still works. Needs help from a flashlight when centering. I am milking this wounded machine until it quits or the servers go dark.
