I came to the conclusion that a wiki page for each material would be better. There’s too much info to come up with a universal set of spreadsheet columns. For example, you might want to include info about sources for the material. Or cautions and gotchas and how to avoid them.
Well… I can tell you one thing, Discourse isn’t the right tool for recording and tracking settings for materials.
