So you can’t see the glue between the acrylic and the wood? I have some glue specifically for glass that I’d forgotten about. I’ll have to try it and see if it works.
It’s just regular CA in gel form. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special about it either (other than being of fairly good quality, but many are…) Better than the junk you get at big-box stores or wally…
