I know, right!
It was originally made in the UK as Scrapheap Challenge and is one of my all time favorite TV shows (along with Robot Wars). Due to the wonders of Dave, I can watch repeats.

My favorite Alton Brown GoodEats episode is Scrap Iron Chef. . And yes, @bridget the U.K. Series was, as usual, much better.

When I was in college, I applied with some friends to be on Junkyard Wars. Never made the cut, tragically.
