Saw this on slickdeals.net. A bunch of people there saying that it’s really sturdy. Adjustable height (not on the fly). 2" thick hardwood top, steel frame.
41 in x 72 in x 25 in is $252. They have a 48" wide one that’s $225.

I’ve seen these, and almost purchased one back before I dropped off the radar at the end of December. I may have to consider it again.
I have two of these in my workspace. Incredibly sturdy, great work benches. I couldn’t give them up: the gf is still living on that same ikea tabletop everyone uses.
funny I have the ‘equivalent’ table from Husky here… oddly enough the price is $337 CAD… which loosely translates to $250 USD… that same Husky is sold in the US for $329 USD. That Gladiator one sells for over $600 CAD here. Gotta love pricing structures.
Incidentally, that husky table is also really solid, I’m thinking of buying a few more.
That’s what I’m using. Plan to put a shelf between the legs for more storage. Works fantastic
I had been looking at these around Christmas time to give me some workspace. They are sturdy and look good too. I realized that unless I got better storage solutions for tools and materials, more tables would just mean more cluttered workspaces. How does one manage this? It’s impossible for me.
The Ikea Alex drawer units are the only thing that saves me. They fit under these workbenches with some space to spare, and I’ve got each drawer set up to go with a particular technique. Now I just need to pick up after myself - that is the real hard part.
Nice table.
I looked at different solutions myself and settled on an IKEA one. I used three side-by-side “ALEX” drawer units. This gave me lots of storage underneath, a reasonable height for me, and a very sturdy top for the Glowflorge.
i have mine on an Ikea desk. the most important thing is a stable surface that’s flat.
the thin ones or the wide ones? I would fall over from joy with three of the wide ones.
IKEA “ALEX”. about 14 inches wide each, about 27+ inches high, and 23 inches deep. 5 drawers: 3 short height plus 2 taller height.
Sigh… storage for days…
