Maslow is the other big option on this space, their newest machine looks good too.

I can see where this might be better for a low production run; you might want to take a good, long look at the Shaper Origin if you do a lot of one-off work.
I have, but I’ve mostly lost the ability to drive it myself, and unless their advertising is really bad, Origin can only do hands free on the little board thingy.
This one combines full sheet size and hands free cutting.
Yeah, it you need it to drive it’s self that kickstarter is better. I’m feeling the affects of age a little more each year but I can still push it around as well as doing long straight cuts with the track saw.
That looks like something even I could figure out. Well, after I figured out where to get $2k from.
Check out the Maslow. This looks very similar. Maslow is 4 versions in and pretty solid. It’s also 1/3 the price. I’ve got one and the creator is super involved in support. He’s been iterating the latest version for the past couple of years and made the upgrades available to the existing V4 customers.
this (and the maslow) look cool, but not only would i need an extra $500-2k, i would need a good 4x8ish space somewhere to set this thing up and i ain’t got that space. maybe if/when i move i’ll have some good shop space.
I hear you. I don’t have a 4x8 area (actually 6x10 for ease of access & use) of the floor that can be sacrificed for it so a temp mounting is needed. You can mount the Maslow on a sloped 4x8 sheet but that complicates work holding & you’d need the open wall space - in my shop there isn’t any open wall space. For the floor option you can put in some anchors so you can drop your spoilboard on the exact same position to set it up correctly every time. You can do smaller sizes as well if you don’t need a bigger work area. While you’re working a project though, that floor space is occupied & you’ve got to be careful moving around. You could also build a table to get it off the floor & save your back, but that gets back to needing surplus room in the workshop 
My table mounted CNC is mounted on a 6x6 tilt top table so it only takes up 2 feet of floor space when tilted up & rolled against the wall. But I’ve been doing a lot of CNC projects lately and it’s taking up max space now 
I don’t even have that much floor space anywhere. we’re tight. my entire studio may be 9x12 ish. i have my material storage in another junk room (the other half of our cape cod attic that’s just where all the junk goes). we probably have 1200 sf of usable space (outside of the junk room) in the whole house. i’m hoping to get both a clean and dirty room if/when we move, whether that’s in an external shop/garage or in basement space (don’t have a basement here, just crawl space).
This seems like the move. If you could make a tilting 4 x 8 top with wheels and had the right kind of space you could roll this thing out into the driveway and do CNC outside when the weather is good.
You have to be in the right kind of situation. There is zero chance I can pull off a CNC of any size in my current workspace, not to mention the issues I would have with sawdust control.
