I have a project in mind for which 1/16" dark grey or black mirror transparent acrylic would be ideal, but I have not been able to find a supplier. If anyone happens to have used such a material, I would appreciate a lead.

I started to share the wrong item, but I think this is what you might be looking for, if it was 1/16" instead of 1/8". Is that right?
I haven’t purchased this specific type but I’ve purchased quite a variety from them and have liked everything I bought from them. But I don’t see 1/16" in this color.

Maybe. It doesn’t specify if it is transparent. I have seen transparent and opaque mirrored acrylic… And sites that don’t say which. I need it to be transparent for my project, lights will be visible through the window.

If you look at the image (and it might help to compare it to other images of theirs as examples), this one is transparent.
For example:
You can see which are opaque and which are transparent, by being able to see the pens or not.
This one shows you a block instead of pens.
However, it’s extruded (I didn’t notice that part until now). So might not be a perfect choice.
