Has Anyone Tried This on Canvas Board?

Has anyone tried Krylon K01306 Workable Fixatif Spray Clear, 11-Ounce Aerosol on canvas board?

curious what you are hoping to use it for? Are you sure you want a workable fixative as opposed to a final fixative? Just remember with the aerosol ones not to spray too close to the art or you can knock stuff around with the force of the spray.

I am interested in a final fixative, thanks, but I also need something inexpensive. I did photographs on canvas board and I don’t want them to smudge or rub off.

the krylon workable spray is a perfectly fine fixative.

Grumbacher Final Fixative is another that is well regarded for charcoal (which is sort of what we make when we hit canvas with a laser).

with any fixative, it is always best to test on a scrap or practice piece before spraying it onto something that you have put a lot of time into. Canvas board (pre-primed?) will likely resist yellowing or over-saturation much better than paper will, so that’s a plus.
