Has anyone used this to clean their fans? I found it on Amazon for much cheaper than the novek.

Just be very careful to let everything completely dry before turning on your machine!

No, they actually want you to do it running in a special cleaning mode, this is why the spec for the cleaner is important. Has to be non-flammable and non-conducting.

I use nylon tube brushes. Poke through from the back. Cleans both the grate behind the fan and the fan blades at the same time. They don’t need to be sparkling, just clear of debris to move air.

I think spraying a degreaser into your fan is such a nonsense way to “clean” it. Even the 3M Novec one they recommended years ago leaves a film buildup on the fan. It’s not cleaning anything.
