I know plenty of engineer-minded people who collect all sorts of useless things, but I have to agree with you on buying something like this. I’d love to be in a room with these pieces to look them over, but I can’t imagine how much money I’d have to have to feel OK spending that much on faux versions of furniture. Then again, I am more likely to spend it there than on a painting. But I also think that value is relative. If I had more money than I knew what to do with, would I bid on tiny furniture? Who knows?
