My students are fairly proficient in google drawings. 1st attempt: made cut lines black, text to engrave in red. Saved in svg format. Imported in to cut and errors of “you can only engrave” where we need cuts. Anyone have advise on how I can simplify the process to involve more students-not just the engineering students and super crafty ones?
Hello and welcome! Only vectors can be cut…not filled shapes or lines. Making each operation a different color is the correct way to do it, but sounds like even then that the parts of the file were bitmaps / rasters, not vectors.
