Hot dog clock

Hi everyone! Here’s one of my first projects I made with our new Glowforge. It was my father-in-law’s birthday and well, he loves hot dogs. So I made him this silly clock!

I used tape to get everything locked into place before gluing, especially the fiddly “relish” :joy: I also made a half-scale test first to make sure the pieces would fit together.

What fun this little machine is!

Well, that’s quite an entrance.

It’s always surprising to see what people think of making.

But a hot dog clock leads to controversy whenever it strikes Sandwich Time…

What an adorable clock! You must be a graphic designer—it’s just perfect.

The mini looks keychain sized to me.

Thanks! I also design and sew my clothes so I founded a company that makes 3D scan based custom dress forms. It’s been so much fun to make tools for makers!

A great gift for Joey Chestnut!

I was thinking rearview mirror ornament, seems a bit big for a keychain…
