My first suggestion (ignoring the the camera/alignment issues) is an accessory that redirects the laser beam 90° so the glowforge can cut into the ends of things, so among other things dovetail joints can be easily made. I can imagine a series of reflecting accessories, like a cone that lets you cut diagonally in a circle… Obviously this will involve some software tweaks, which brings me to my second suggestion. Open up the capabilities of the glowforge with a plug in architecture so your community can add to the software tools available to us all.
