That was my first car… 73 super. Man did that heating suck. The vents to the engine had totally rusted out and the gas heater wouldn’t come back on if you turned it off until it had completely cooled down. Made for a foggy or windows wide open ride. I do miss it though.
I had a 73 super convertible. Finished up with no heat whatsoever (not good in New England) and not much of a floor before I succumbed to responsible fatherhood and got rid of it.
Still remember my son’s first ride in it - top down and he had a balloon he let go of. He hated that car forevermore
Mine is in remarkably good shape considering the benign neglect I subject it to.
The one thing I did fix was the heater blower though, Seattle is no place to live without a window defogger!
