I found this article on make and it really got me thinking about the possibilities of using the GF to make some really nice custom enclosures for electronics.

I really like the idea of using the combination of a wood veneer and e-glass cloth for strength. Once i get my GF i’ll have to play around with using it to cut custom forms and veneer pieces. I just need to get my hands on a vacuum bag.

Really interesting! It’s a great idea for people who expect to tinker forever. (I’d have gone with more or different hinges, though–those little jewelry-box hinges with their fine screws will loosen with everyday use.)
