Saw this posted on facebook and intended to read it and then bring it here. That was a few hours ago, still haven’t read it and you beat me to posting by 13 hours. Maybe I need too visit the forum more
Great article, thanks for passing it along! I’ve bookmarked it so that I can periodically go back to it to remind me of what I shouldn’t be doing. Thankfully, some of these guidelines don’t apply to Glowforges. (Like failure to focus, zero, and failure to add masking.)

It’s true that the focus and (for the most part) zeroing will be automagic on the GF, many of us won’t be using the GF-branded materials, so remembering to add masking will remain an important step.
Uh, automagic is my new favorite word.
