I loved the shoji lights shown on made in glowforge, so

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY liked this fun-with-plywood-shoji-paper

so much so, I ordered some Shoji paper on amazon, and did three so far. One was a turtle stencil my daughter drew, and another was based on a piece of chinese furniture, the third one was found on Etsy by my daughter.
(So reproduction of the later 2 should not be done for sale)
boxes were created on boxes.py

They’re beautiful! FYI Posting the ones with Etsy designs is a violation of the forum rules. You can post photos, just not the designs themselves.

And nothing posted in the “Free Laser Designs” is meant for people to sell. Just meant for personal use.

Ooooh! I like that paper! Lots o’ potential.

What kind of paper do you put in these? I love that effect!

I searched on Amazon for Showgi paper, my wife is of japanese ancestry, and said “that’s not real Showgi paper”, it was real enough for me. (Traditional ones would not have the color)
